As I have been totally busy (aka: negligent) lately, I have decided to rewrite the rules of my Project365. I still plan to come out with 365 photos, however, I may not be able to do it everyday. I feel bad and a bit guilty for not being able to do this as much as I would like and should, however work beckons and time is a-lacking.

Anyway, do expect more over the following weeks. In the meantime, do enjoy this photo of Jason’s friend’s guitar…

I went on a walk in the “woods” today. As I was walking I couldn’t seem to get this song out of my head. I heard it the first time in “Open Season” as Boog’s Lullaby.

11: Alien Landing?

These things greeted me as I headed out of IFC this afternoon. I have no idea what they are, but they look pretty interesting. These things actually turn with the wind, sort of like circular wind vanes. I think the idea of this installation is to have the illusion of movement with the color. But then again, maybe not. Oh well, who cares.

I chanced upon this lady by the local Thai restaurant gyrating with this hula-hoop. Judging by the sound of her shortness-of-breath counting and the small crowd that was gathered she was probably doing this long before I saw her.

I learned a valuable lesson today: “Always take time to set-up your shot” I stood near her for like 2 seconds and pressed my shutter. I didn’t even check my camera settings. What I did was pretty bad photography if you ask me. Not only did I not set-up my shot, I only took one photo. I had to post-process my a** off to come out with something half-decent as the original was just so bad. However, I decided to use this photo to remind myself always to be thoughtful of what I am doing. Photography or otherwise.
