I have decided to upload some of my older pics of Hong Kong because of two reasons: (1) I think some pics I have in my archive are pretty good and (2) I haven’t taken any new pictures lately.
The photo above was taken in Man Mo Temple, one of the oldest temples in Hong Kong (built in 1847!). I was a little uneasy snapping photos, I felt that I was desecrating the place being all touristy. Fortunately, a busload of tourists from Japan and a couple of cabs filled with white people arrived and started taking pictures as indiscriminately as me.
I therefore proved one theory: the feeling of guilt diminishes as the number of people doing the deed increases.
59: Red Devil
Often during my ferry rides from Lamma to Hong Kong Island, I would look out the window and see these fast Hong Kong-bound boats from Macau practically skimming the water. I call `em “Red Devils”
58: Ring Toss
I absolutely adore this photo of girls trying their luck at this Ring Toss game at Ocean Park.

Location: Ocean Park
Reminds me of:
(1) Old 1960’s films set in the ocean
(2) Jaques Cousteau
(3) Finding Nemo
56: Coming and Going
Getting around in Hong Kong is never a problem. My favorite modes of transport is the MTR. It’s cheap, fast, and the stations are surprisingly spacious (and house dozens of shops).
55: Bubble Ride
Seats six and there’s one every minute to take from one end of Ocean Park to another. I love cable car rides. It gives to the thrill of being suspended in mid-air without the actual fear of falling. Yeah, I’m such a risk-taker. Bite me.
