Czarie, a good friend of mine, flew from Manila, hopped on a cab to Shenzhen, had a couple of meetings, a bowl of noodles and way too much to drink, hopped on a train to Hong Kong and spent Saturday afternoon (and evening) with me. We shopped, meandered, ate, and got a little lost but we managed to snag a few sweet deals at the Ladies Night Market in Mong Kok (thanks to Czarie’s unnatural ability to haggle). Alas, after hours of wandering the streets of Kowloon did we manage to call it a day (rather, a night) and we both crashed as soon as we reached the front steps of my flat.
Cheers Czarie! I had a blast! But next time, bring our other friends with you.
